How do I arrange a viewing?
Just contact us, let us know what you’re looking for and we’ll have a chat as to how we can best help to find the right house for you.
What is included in the rent?
All bills are included (wifi, council tax, gas, electricity and water). All communal areas are cleaned on a weekly basis. In addition a window cleaner comes quarterly and a gardener attends the gardens in the summer months
What is the minimum stay at the property?
The minimum term is six months and thereafter one month’s notice is required. We hope to provide a great house and community that you will stay longer.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
We ask for a one month deposit. This is collected before you move in and is then registered and held with the Deposit Protection Scheme (DPS). This is an independent body which holds and protects your deposit.
How much rent do I need to pay in advance?
It can vary depending on when you take the room. Usually it is anything from 2 weeks up to one month's rent.
What is provided in the room and house?
All of our houses are fully furnished and each room is individually styled. Typically each room will have a bed, mattress, mattress cover, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table, desk, chair and a picture rail for those personal photos or memorable pictures.
Kitchens are fully stocked with crockery, cutlery, saucepans, kettle, toaster, microwave. Everything you need for cooking those favourite meals. So all you need are your clothes, duvet, pillow and toothbrush!
Is a cleaning service provided?
A cleaner attends the house once a week to clean all communal areas. You are responsible for cleaning your room but if you don’t fancy that then arrangements can be made with our cleaner at a small cost.
Can I work from home?
Yes, you can work from home. A desk and chair is provided to make this easy. ’No dead zone’ wifi is provided and there are datapoints in each of the rooms should you require.
Can I bring a pet to live in the house?
No pets are allowed in the houses.
